Education Durham | A twilight session for primary and secondary school staff, jointly developed and co-facilitated by colleagues from across Education and CAMHS, to reflect on staff wellbeing / resilience and consider ways in which it may be protected and promoted. Attendees will be supported to: develop thinking around the terms wellbeing and resilience, particularly as they relate to school staff. consider relevant theory and research into staff wellbeing / resilience and ways in which they may be protected and promoted. develop a layered response for supporting staff wellbeing that includes: self-care, whole school approaches, professional / peer supervision, and signposting to specialist agencies (e.g. counselling). EduCare | This course considers the meaning of wellbeing, its impact on individuals and the workplace, common mental health issues and work related stress.
