Training for professionals working with children, young people and families to help them understand, recognise and respond to child poverty.

Aims:
• Understand child poverty and disadvantage.
• Understand the impact of child poverty.
• Understand how to recognise the potential signs and symptoms of child poverty.
• Understand the role of agencies, services and support networks to work with a family and move them away from poverty.
• Within your role, understand how to support a family in recognising and responding to the factors that are contributing to a family being in poverty.
