| Peer Mentoring Programme | Investing in Children | Following on from Train the Trainer CPD, children and young people can access the ASDAN accredited Peer Mentor programme. The Peer Mentoring Programme is a low-level early intervention and prevention programme that raises awareness of mental health, encourages conversations for young people to ask for support to help manage their emotions and feelings. Inspire young people: • Equip young people to help their peers • Improve their access to wellbeing support • Sharpen their communication and people skills • Develop an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding • Provide social care and vocational careers experience • Receive an ASDAN certificate, brilliant for their CV The offer provides up to six (flexible) tailored training sessions exploring emotional wellbeing, active listening, staying safe and topics the young people feel affect their mental health. | Contact chris.affleck@investinginchildren.net | Contact provider for cost | Children and Young People |
